Only in recent years has colored pencil come into its own as a bona fide medium.  Many people have looked at colored pencil as a type of glorified crayon. Chris strives to break those preconceived notions with his highly detailed Photo-realistic illustrations.  In this workshop you will learn how to exploit the phenomenal potential of the wedium in a step-by-step walk through.  With a focus on multiple aspects of realism such as light, reflections, shadows, the illusion of focus, refracted and reflected light and the techniques used to achieve these effects.

Everyone will receive a set of prismacolors as well as sample sheets of the paper that Chris uses. Each attendee will also receive a copy of Chris' DVD "Rendering realism in colored pencil."

Feel free to bring your portfolio both tattooing and other artwork for critique.
